PerfectIt runs within Word, so in order to work with PDFs, it's necessary to convert the PDF to Word (DOCX format) first.
In order to convert the PDF, the best product to use is Word 2013 or above. Word 2013 and above can open PDFs directly. If you're using PerfectIt Cloud, you must also save the document in DOCX format after opening it in Word.
If you're using an earlier version of Word, there are many utilities available to convert PDFs. We recommend Zamzar which is free.
