I tried installing, but I get the message "The advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user interface option of the package to basic."

This message usually means that there is an invisible copy of PerfectIt on your computer that has not fully uninstalled. If you haven't yet installed Windows 10 or Office 2016 or above, then you can run the Fixit utility from Microsoft. Otherwise, please:

• Go to Settings (or Control Panel) and find PerfectIt in the list of installed programs.
• Click on PerfectIt in that list to find out the exact version that is installed (it will be of the format 5.x.x)
• Contact us with that version number and a request for an uninstaller. We will send a link to that.

When you run the uninstaller, the option will come up to remove PerfectIt. Choose to do that. Then restart your computer and re-install PerfectIt from our website.
