Does PerfectIt work with languages other than English?

We don't support PerfectIt in other languages. However, some of PerfectIt's checks will work in other languages and we have users (especially professional translators) using PerfectIt with French, Spanish, German, and Dutch (amongst others).

PerfectIt's performance in other languages can be optimized by understanding that:

• Some checks will work identically (e.g. bullet and table capitals and punctuation).
• Some checks won't work (e.g. anything related to spelling).
• Some checks will produce good results but there will be a small loss of accuracy due to false positives (e.g. hyphenation and capitalization).
